Who is Jesus

Matthew 16:13-17 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

WHO DO YOU SAY THAT HE IS?

Many things are said about Jesus. But the real question is, "Who do you say Jesus is?" This question will distinguish whether you are a believer or not. It determines your eternal destiny. We at the Christian Center believe what the infallible Word of God says about Jesus. The Bible says that He is the Son of God who came to earth and became a man to save the world from sin. The Bible tells us that God raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, and that those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.

WHO DOES THE BIBLE SAY THAT JESUS IS?

THE SON OF GOD

John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

SON OF MAN

Philippians 2:7-8 But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

HE IS ALIVE

1 Corinthians 15:3-6  For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,  and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.  After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.

OUR SAVIOR

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9 Th
at if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
