John & Sarah Brown
Norwich, England

After graduating from Calvary Chapel Bible College in 1990, I did a year-long internship where I met a beautiful, young woman who radiated the love of Jesus. By some strange miracle, I convinced Sarah to be my wife and we were married in August 1991. We've been blessed with 5 beautiful children since: Garrett, Savannah, Brooke, Noelle and Christian.
I have been in pastoral ministry since 1991, serving as a youth/associate pastor for the better part of 12 years with Calvary Chapel El Centro, California. In September 2003, my family and I moved to London and served with Calvary Chapel Twickenham, developing their children's ministry and doing outreach to Kingston University students.
In December 2004 we moved to Norwich and planted Servant's Church. I love spending time with my kids, working out, reading, watching sappy, romantic comedies with my wife, and most of all, knowing Jesus.

Derek & Lauren Webber
Chogoria, Kenya, Africa

During his time overseas Derek felt God leading him to pursue further education within the realm of healthcare that could serve as a door for introducing the Gospel while serving the poor. Upon returning to the States and getting married to Lauren, Derek began studying to be a Medical Technologist and then obtained his Masters in Physician Assistants Studies in December 2011.

Continuing to sense God's direction to serve overseas in a medical and evangelism/discipleship capacity, Derek and Lauren took a vision trip with Serge to assess the ministry in Bundibugyo, Uganda. Recognizing that their gifts could be used to further the Gospel in this area, as well as having the opportunity for spiritual growth in the life of their own family, the Webbers felt that this ministry was a perfect fit for them. Through a series of events, the Webbers are now serving with Serge in Chogoria, Kenya.

We are the Webbers, a family of 5 trying to figure out this thing called Life. We know God uses imperfect people to carry out His perfect plan, and His perfect plan for us happens to include relocating us to Chogoria, Kenya. It's a wild ride, but we'd love to have you join us!

Boaz & Africa Niyinyumva
Litein, Kenya, Africa

Boaz and Africa grew up in the southern part of Bujumbura, Burundi.  They served as Sunday school teachers in the same church where they met and then got married two years (2017) after engagement. Both Boaz and Africa were called at young age to serve God through Sunday school programs offered at their home church (Evangelical Church of Central Africa, ECCA/EEAC).
Boaz grew up with a clear calling from God to serve the underserved/underprivileged since childhood (at 11 years) through medical care and empowerment. He was called by God to be a doctor when he was in a refugee camp in the democratic Republic of Congo. Through hardship, pain and sorrow, God provided for his entire education from primary school until now. God brought people in his life that would meet his needs for the skills and support he needed to fulfill the calling. After completing his medical school at Hope Africa University in Burundi, Boaz joined Kabarak University in Kenya where He finished his training in Family Medicine. During residency he was also active in the PCEA youth ministry and leading the worship team of the English service.
Africa finished high school in Burundi and started doing nursing studies at University. However, she soon realized that her calling was more toward helping underprivileged communities become more socially, economically and spiritually empowered. She currently plans to study Social Sciences and Community Development while in Kenya. She has been an active member of the Women’s Guild and Youth department, encouraging the young generation to serve God from a young age.
After completion of their studies Boaz and Africa plan to go back home to Burundi and serve as missionaries in their homeland. They are in the process of applying with World Gospel Mission to become national missionaries, and are hoping to start the process soon of raising funds to support their ministry work. As of today, Boaz and Africa have one beautiful daughter, Bathia (2 years) and have just finished their time in Chogoria where they served under Kabarak University. They plan to join the growing team of faculty at AIC Litein Hospital in the training of Family Medicine residents under Kabarak before they return to Burundi. If you would be interested in hearing more about supporting their work, please email them at boazsis@gmail.com.
