Jim Dillahunt joined the board of elders in 2016.

Favorite Verse: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13

TESTIMONY

Jim and Debie grew up in La Mesa, Ca. and attended the same schools through high school. They were in the same third grade class! Jim’s family was active in their church where he came to know the Lord at a young age. Debie became a Christian at age 17 and was delighted when her parents accepted Jesus several years later. After moving to Borrego Springs, they began attending the Christian Center. They are thankful for Pastor Mellor’s faithful teaching of God’s Word and love being a part of the church family. Jim loves coaching Little League and enjoys getting together with friends for Men’s Breakfast at church.  Debie loves teaching the Jr. Church children and also feels blessed to lead the Women’s Morning Bible Study. Both Jim and Debie cherish spending time with their family and grandchildren. They also enjoy exploring our beautiful desert on Jeep trips with friends and family. They believe it is a true joy to belong to the family of God and consider it a privilege to serve Him.
